Summer Half Term at Old Down Park
Bank Holiday Monday May 27th Teddy Bear’s Picnic on the Manor House Lawns. Bring a teddy, a blanket and a picnic and join us for an afternoon of Teddy Bear party games and crafts with Nessy. Free with Park Entry.
Free Afternoon Activities in the Park for Half Term:
· Sunday 26th May Forest School Bushcraft Taster from 1pm-4pm
· Saturday 1st June Forest School Bushcraft Taster from 1pm-4pm
· Sunday 2nd June Woodland Crafts in the Yurt 1pm – 4pm
There are creative and educational activities led by our Warden throughout half term see our Programme for more details.
We now have Marshfield Ice Cream for sale in our Shop and Ice Cream Kiosk. We are selling 10 flavours of organic ice cream in cones, tubs and milkshakes, a perfect treat after an afternoon in the Park.
We have beautiful grounds to explore, Woodland walks, animal encounters, fantastic views of the River Severn and Wales, an adventure playground, Walled Garden, giant bouncy pillow, a café selling delicious freshly prepared meals and snacks and the farm shop selling gifts and food.
Old Down Country Park is easily accessible from Bristol, Thornbury and the M5 / M4 / M48 motorway system.
